The third quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 convenience store apps on the Android platform in Latin America. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.

mi OXXO showed a dynamic trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 166K in mid-July and experiencing fluctuations thereafter, ending the quarter with approximately 57K downloads. Meanwhile, weekly active users saw a peak of 320K in early July, before experiencing a gradual decline to about 202K by the end of September.

7-Eleven México had a more stable performance. Weekly downloads remained relatively consistent, hovering around 3.7K in early July and tapering off slightly to 2K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 5.7K and concluding the quarter at around 4.4K.

Dollar General experienced modest download figures, with a peak of 1.5K in early July, and fluctuating to end the quarter at around 740 downloads. The app maintained a steady user base, with active users ranging from 8.5K to 9.5K throughout the quarter.

Family Dollar saw its weekly downloads increase from 173 in late June to a high of 336 by the end of September. Active users also rose steadily, starting at 338 in late June and reaching 505 by the end of the quarter.

The 99 Store experienced gradual growth in downloads, starting at 69 in late June and peaking at 218 by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a similar upward trend, beginning at 451 and climbing to 566 by the quarter's end.
